These are starting prices for reference only. Your final price depends on your city, date, hours, language and what you need, and is confirmed in a written quote after we've talked it through with you. Nothing is charged until you accept that quote.
Timing: the earliest service date is usually about one week after your request, subject to final confirmation in writing. This gives us time to confirm local arrangements for your visit. If we can't confirm the arrangements needed for your visit, we'll tell you as soon as we know and refund everything you've paid, including your deposit, in full.
Before you confirm any booking, your written quote will give the name and public contact details of each organisation that will provide part of your service or receive your personal information. We don't publish these on our website.
We help with: meeting you, registration and queue assistance, finding your way in the hospital, going with you to the payment counter (you pay the hospital yourself), faithfully relaying what is said, noting the doctor's instructions in their words, and collecting reports where the hospital allows.
We don't: interpret results, give medical advice, recommend hospitals, doctors or medicines, sign anything for you, handle or advance medical fees, or buy, resell or fast-track appointment slots.
Your companion relays what is said faithfully and as accurately as possible, without intentionally omitting or changing information. Companions are not medical interpreters. If a conversation goes beyond what your companion can relay reliably — for example a diagnosis, treatment options, surgery or a consent form — they'll say so, pause, and ask the hospital for its own qualified language support or translated documents before you continue. Your companion never signs or decides anything for you.
We aim to reply to quote requests within 24 hours on business days.
Checkup items are set by the medical institution; we coordinate and accompany only and do not interpret results. Not included: checkup package fees, clinical care, drugs, medical advice, or choosing a treatment plan.
Service fee for coordination & accompaniment only. Medical care is provided by licensed hospitals/clinics; China Assist does not practice medicine.
In an emergency in mainland China, call 120. We are not an emergency service. China Assist is independent. We're not a hospital and we don't provide medical care.
