Booking payment · 订金
The booking payment is 20% of the service fee in your written quote. It does not include the PayPal fee, which is listed separately in the quote and paid by you. The booking payment is a prepayment of your service fee, not earnest money ("dingjin"), and the earnest-money penalty rules do not apply.
订金为书面报价中服务费的 20%，不含单独列明、由您承担的 PayPal 手续费。订金属于预付服务费，不具有定金性质，不适用定金罚则。
Your booking is confirmed when you accept the written quote within its validity period and we receive the booking payment. We then confirm in writing. The quote is valid until the date shown on it, and at the latest until 96 hours (4 days) before the start time, which is also when the balance is due. Both the booking payment and the balance must be received by then, so we can't accept bookings with less than 4 days to go; the earliest service date is usually about one week after your request.
您在报价有效期内书面接受报价、且订金到账时，合同成立，我们随即书面确认。报价在所示日期前有效，最晚至服务开始前 96 小时（4 天，即尾款截止时间）。订金和尾款都须在此之前到账，因此距服务开始不足 4 天的预约无法接受；最早服务日期一般约为询价后一周。
Start time on this page means the agreed time when you arrive and first meet your companion (for an airport meet, when we meet you at the airport). Cancellation times are counted back from the start time; exactly 72 hours counts as "72 hours or more".
本页所说的服务开始，指您到达、与陪同员首次会合的约定时间（接机服务即接机会合时）。取消时间按距服务开始倒数计算；恰好 72 小时属于"≥72 小时"一档。
The balance (the remaining 80%) must be paid at least 4 days (96 hours) before the start time. If it isn't paid in full by then, we don't arrange that visit, and the booking payment is handled under the cancellation table below according to the time remaining before the start time. Any part of the balance you have paid is refunded in full (see "How refunds are paid" for the PayPal fee). No penalty or other charge is added.
尾款（其余 80%）最迟须在服务开始前 4 天（96 小时）付清。届时未付清的，该次服务不予安排，订金按下表、依距服务开始的时间所落入的档位处理，已付的部分尾款全额退还（PayPal 手续费见"退款方式"）。我们不会因此另收罚金或其他费用。

If you cancel after the start time · 服务开始后您取消
If you cancel after the start time (including if you leave midway), the booking payment is not refunded — once the service has started, it falls under the "less than 24 hours" row above. The balance already paid is settled for the time used (rounded up to the next started half hour against the booked hours in your written quote); the unused part of the balance is refunded. The PayPal fee is never refunded. No penalty or other charge is added.
服务开始后取消（含中途离开）的，订金不退——服务已开始，按上方"＜24 小时"一档处理。已付尾款按已用时段结算（按书面报价预约时长，不足半小时按半小时计）；未用部分的尾款退还。PayPal 手续费一律不退。不另收罚金或其他费用。

These rules apply first to the service fee (booking payment and balance). The PayPal fee is never refunded. The cancellation table and the "after the start time" rule above apply only when none of these situations does.
以上规则优先适用于服务费（订金和尾款）；PayPal 手续费一律不退。只有不属于以上情形时，才适用上面的取消时间表和"服务开始后取消"规则。
Payee and how to pay · 收款方与付款方式
Payee: China Assist (sole proprietor). All payments are made in US dollars through PayPal; the payment link or invoice is sent with your written quote. Only pay through the PayPal payment link or invoice in your written quote. We will never ask you to transfer money to a personal account or through any other channel.
收款方：China Assist（个人经营者）。所有款项以美元通过 PayPal 支付，付款链接或发票随书面报价发出。请只通过书面报价里的 PayPal 付款链接或发票付款；我们不会要求您转账到个人账户或通过其他任何渠道付款。
How refunds are paid · 退款方式
PayPal's payment processing fee is listed separately in your written quote and paid by you. It is set out once in the quote before you confirm and is never added afterwards or during the service.
PayPal 支付手续费在书面报价里单独列明，由您承担；在您确认报价前一次性写明，事后和服务中都不会追加。
Refunds are made through PayPal to your original payment method within 7 days of the refund becoming due. In every situation on this page — including when you cancel, when the hospital cancels, force majeure, and when we fail to provide the service — the PayPal fee is never refunded. We refund only the service-fee amounts due under these rules (booking payment and/or balance); the PayPal fee actually incurred on your original payment is deducted and nothing else is deducted. Your bank or card issuer may take extra time to show it.
退款在退款条件成立后 7 日内通过 PayPal 原路退回。本页所有情形——包括您取消、医院停诊、不可抗力、以及我们未能按约定提供服务——PayPal 手续费一律不退。我们只退按规则应退的服务费（订金和/或尾款）；原付款实际发生的 PayPal 手续费从退款中扣除，不扣其他任何费用。银行或发卡机构入账可能另需时间。
Medical fees are never paid to us. Any refund of hospital or clinic fees is a matter between you and that institution.
